EVERY CHILD MATTERS
Hollingbury Park Pre-school was established over 50 years ago and over the years it has developed into a friendly extended hours pre-school, providing quality care and pre-school education. We follow the Early Years Curriculum where every child matters. We are open Term time only.
We are proud of our achievements and provide a great service for a reasonable cost, enabling all families to be included. The group is a non-profit making charity, and therefore all money made is reinvested in the pre-school, all for the good of the children.
We have a well known name with BHISS (Brighton and Hove inclusion support service) and we are proud of the achievements our SEN children have conquered with the support from Hollingbury Park Pre-school. Our strong relationships with external agencies mean every child gets the support and help they need.
Our new building is purpose built and we have been involved in making decisions about the design to suit every child's needs with the help of the Brighton and Hove Early Years team. The new building has been opened since January 2011.

Main Room
Our Main room is open plan for 2-4 year olds to explore during play time. The space consists of a home corner, construction corner, reading area, art area, small world section and soft play. Each morning and afternoon different toys are available on the tables for the children to enjoy. Our reading corner has books available throughout the day for children to read at their leisure, further developing their language and communication skills

Garden
Our large garden includes a sheltered balcony area for wet weather so we have an outdoor accessible area all year round. We also have an open grass area for all weathers. Our large outside space includes climbing frames, sensory garden, a mud kitchen area, swings, houses and space for bike riding and exercise. Our covered area includes a sand pit and variety of outside toys.

Back Room
Our back room is used for music and reading time. A quiet area for calm group activities after lunch. As well as our SEN space. We hold sessions in this room to support children who need additional support.
